DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - A pair of Wildcats garned SWAC weekly honors after their outstanding performances in last weekend's Alachua County Invitational, the league office announced Friday.
Amenda Saint-Louis was named Track Athlete of the Week, while
Guy Bond was named Field Athlete of the Week.
Saint-Louis enjoyed another strong performance last weekend, finishing first in the 300-meter dash with a season-best and league-best 40.28. She also finished third in the 60-meter dash with an 8.02, the third-fastest mark in the conference this season.
Bond turned in another outstanding performance in the field at the Alachua County Invitational, finishing first with a 6-9.75 in the high jump, a personal record and just shy of the facility record in Gainesville.
This is the first weekly honor of Saint-Louis's career. It mark's the second of Bond's career after he took home weekly honors on Jan. 20.
