BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Bethune-Cookman's
Jakobi Heady Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Men's Basketball Impact Player of the Week, announced Tuesday, Jan. 2, from the league office in Birmingham, Alabama.
Sophomore Guard
Jakobi Heady led the Cats offensively in two tough non-conference games against UCF and Mississippi State. He totaled 30 points in the two contests, also adding team-highs in assists, with four, rebounds, with 14, as well as adding a block and a steal. He was perfect from the free throw line.
It marks the second weekly honor of Heady's career after he was previously named Impact Player of the Week on December 12. The honor is the third of the season for B-CU.
