BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Bethune-Cookman track & field student-athlete Malcolm Brown has been named Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Track Athlete of the Week for the period of March 12-19, announced Tuesday afternoon by the league office in Birmingham, Alabama.
 
Brown, a junior from Miami, had a strong start to the outdoor season, finishing 11th in the 800m with 1:56.11. He also finished 29th in the 1500m running a 4:07.57.

It is the first weekly honor of Brown's career, and the first of the outdoor season for B-CU.
