DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Amya Jennings f B-CU Volleyball and
Andrew Kiplagat of B-CU Cross Country have been named Wildcats of the Week for the week of October 27-November 2, 2025.
Amya Jennings' outstanding sophomore season continued as she crossed the 20-kill mark for the third time this season against Alabama State. On the weekend, she totaled 37 kills on 78 attacks with only eight errors. She also recorded two service aces and 20 digs.
Andrew Kiplagat became the second consecutive Wildcat to take home the SWAC individual country title, as he wrapped up his magical season with a 24:48.7 finish, just under an entire minute faster than the next closest runner. He was named SWAC Runner of the Year for his performance as the Wildcats went on to take their first-ever SWAC men's championship in program history.
Each week, The Bethune-Cookman Office of Athletic Communications recognizes one male and one female student-athlete through the Wildcats of the Week award.
This award recognizes student-athletes who have excelled in competition, in the classroom, and in the community over the past week, exemplifying the Championship Culture of Wildcat Athletics.
