BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Senior guard
Jakobi Heady was named Southwestern Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon from the conference headquarters.
Jakobi Heady was excellent yet again for the Wildcats as they stretched their win streak to seven in a row with wins over AAMU and Prairie View A&M. He again led the Cats in scoring with 49 points on 15-23 shooting with 13 rebounds, three assists, a block, and three steals.
It marks the fourth weekly honor of the season for B-CU, and the third for Heady.
The Wildcats return to action on Saturday, February 14 as they take on Alcorn State on the road. They will look to stretch their win streak to nine games with a win.
