FRIDAY PRACTICE REPORT: The Wildcats hit the field very earlier (7:45 a.m.) for their first practice session Friday and gave a lot of attention - including meeting time - to kickoff coverage.

"It was a special teams day," said B-CU coach Brian Jenkins.

The Wildcats move into the second week of practice with a late afternoon session Saturday afternoon.

ALUMNI UPDATE: It was a big day for two former B-CU football players Friday.

Nick Collins and the rest of the Green Bay Packers were at the White House Friday as President Barack Obama honored the Super Bowl XLV champions. 

Also, Stevie Thomas was named to the Arena Football Hall of Fame at the league's championship game. Thomas won four Arena Bowl championships with the Tampa Bay Storm during his 10-year career.
