CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman opened its 2014 Men's Tennis spring schedule with a 7-0 loss to Miami Friday at the Neil Schiff Tennis Complex
The No. 3 doubles combination of Santiago Lobelo/Diego Garavito was up 4-1 in its match against Omar Aly/Bernard Tefel, but play was suspended after Miami (2-1) had already clinched the double points and also to begin singles play to avoid incoming rain.
Walif Gtari battled Diego Soto in the number three singles match before falling 6-4,6-3.
B-CU faces St. Thomas Saturday.
