KSC Ticket Giveaway Highlights Game Promotions

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Fans attending Saturday's Bethune-Cookman versus Florida Tech game can win tickets to experience the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

Five sets of admissions (10 total) will be given away during the game. Fans can win in-person if they have purchased a specially marked edition of the Prowl, the official gameday program of B-CU Football, by responding on the official twitter feed (@bcuathletics) or listening to the CatEye Network broadcast on WELE (1380AM in Daytona Beach) or online at www.big1380.com.

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex features the new home of Space Shuttle Atlantis, the Shuttle Launch Experience, 3D IMAX films “Hubble 3D” or “Space Station,” Exploration Space and the Apollo/Saturn V Center. Also included is admission to the nearby  U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame and the opportunity to meet a veteran NASA astronaut.

Space Shuttle Atlantis showcases the  historic spacecraft displayed as only spacewalking astronauts have seen her — rotated 43.21 degrees with payload doors open and its Canadarm (robotic arm) extended, as it has just undocked from the International Space Station. Other exhibits highlight the rich 30-year history of the Space Shuttle program.

Saturday's game features several onsite promotions at Municipal Stadium, most notably the 20th Annual  Church and Community Day, which caps off a week-long partnership outreach with area churches to provide spiritual support to both B-CU students and the Daytona Beach community. Area ministers will serve as honorary game captains for the 14th-ranked Wildcats, and will also participate in the team's Legacy Walk upon arrival at the stadium two hours before kickoff.

Special ticket rates of $10 on the visitor's side are available.

Also on Saturday, DJ Nailz  and DJ Young Smitchell, two of Orlando's most powerful DJs, will be spinning and broadcasting live from the student tailgate area beginning at approximately 12 p.m.

For ticket information, contact the B-CU ticket office at 386-481-2465.
