HAMMOND, La. - Bethune-Cookman women's basketball finished its nine-day road trip as the Wildcats suffered a 75-63 setback at Southeastern Louisiana, Friday, Nov. 25 in Hammond, Louisiana.
The Lions three-point shooting was the difference maker in the BCU loss, as SLU knocked down 13 from deep, shooting nearly 50% from downtown.

Alea Godfrey with 21 seconds left in the first tied the game at 12.
Two Lion foul shots gave the home team the two-point lead heading into the first break.
Despite the Wildcat's 14 turnovers, BCU only trailed 14-12 after the first ten minutes, outshooting the Lions 66.7%-to-38.5% from the field and dominating on the boards with a 10-to-2 advantage.
Kaylin Williams kissed one off the glass at the 7:24 mark in the second, tying the score again, this time at 17.
SLU connected on six three-pointers during the second quarter (6-for-8), shooting 75% from deep, giving the Lions the 41-31 lead heading into the intermission.
At the half,
Kailyn Williams lead BCU with 11 points, two rebounds and two blocks while
Angel Golden added five points and a game-high four boards.
For the first time during the season, the Wildcats trailed at the half.
It took nearly three minutes out of the break for either team to see a bucket, as
Kailyn Williams connected from the right block at the 7:22 mark.
Down 11 after three,
Kendra Cooper's offensive came alive for the Wildcats adding nine points during the third, BCU trailing 59-47.

Taylor Houston trey at the 6:38 mark cut the Lion's lead to nine (65-56), the closest the Wildcats would get during the final stanza before falling 75-63.
Cooper finished with a team-best 20 points, while fellow senior
Kailyn Williams added 18 points, four rebounds and five blocked shots.
SLU's Taylin Underwood finished with a game-high 35 points, ranking her 12th in the nation for points scored in a game this season, as she connected on eight three balls which ranks fourth in the NCAA thus far.
Bethune-Cookman returns to action on Thursday, Dec. 1 as the Wildcats host Flagler College at the ICI Center in Daytona Beach at 6 p.m.
