DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman plays its Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference "home" opener Saturday at 9 p.m. when the Wildcats host Morgan State in the Lemerand Center on the Daytona State campus.
The Wildcats (3-11, 0-1 MEAC) dropped a 104-91 decision at Savannah State in their conference opener while the Bears (4-10, 1-0) downed Norfolk State 58-56.
B-CU is 3-1 in "home" games this year while its on-campus Moore Gym is undergoing renovations.

STORYLINES
- The Wildcats have lost four straight and 10 of their last 11
- B-CU was 7-1 at home in conference play last year. The Wildcats lost their home opener to Coppin State – Monday's opponent – before coming back to beat Morgan State.
- Brandon Tabb took over the MEAC scoring lead after Wednesday's 30-point outburst against Savannah State. He's averaging 20.4 ppg, ahead of North Carolina Central's Patrick Cole and Norfolk State's Jonathan Wade, both of whom are averaging 19.3 ppg.
- Since switching to point guard, Diamante Lewis is averaging  15.2 ppg, 5.8 rpg and 4.2 apg.
- Reggie Baker has scored 20 points or more in two of the past three games.
- The Wildcats have won the last two meetings.
SCOUTING MORGAN STATE: Â Wednesday's win against Norfolk State snapped a four-game losing streak for the Bears, who average 65.7 ppg on offense and are giving up 76.4. Tiwian Kendley is averaging 22.9 ppg while Phillip Carr is scoring 19 a night and leads the team with a 9.5 rebounding average.
