Bethune-Cookman's Isaiah Bailey has been chosen as the Boxtorow National Player of the Week, as announced by the outlet this Wednesday.
Bailey, a 6-6 junior from Compton, Calif. averaged 23.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 10.0 assists and two steals in two victories last week for the first place Wildcats.
On Feb. 24, he recorded a triple double of 19 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in the victory over Savannah State.Â
This is BCU's first Boxtorow honor of the year. The Wildcats close the regular season and can clinch a share of the Mid-Eastern Athletic conference title with a victory when the 'Cats square off against Florida A&M on Thurs., Mar. 1 at 8 p.m.
