Jonathan Hernandez era finished with the Wildcats taking two of three from archrival Florida A&M. Meanwhile, the Eagles dropped their conference opening series against North Carolina A&T, with the Aggies taking two of three.
TGIM (Thank Goodness It's Maldonado): Anthony Maldonado has helped BCU go unbeaten on Friday nights (4-0) so far this season. The MEAC Preseason Pitcher Of The Year has struck out 25, including 10 against Ohio State and nine last week against Florida A&M.
BULLPEN: Brandon Wilkes leads the MEAC in saves with three. On the hitting side, Wilkes leads the Wildcats with six multi-hit games.
