Box Score DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. –Anthony Maldonado only allowed runs in one frame but Bethune-Cookman's bats kept quiet in a 3-0 setback to North Carolina A&T State Friday night at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.

The Aggies (12-9, 3-1) did their damage in the third inning with three runs off five hits. A.J. Hunt's single to left plated Dustin Baber. Camden Williamson sliced a ground-rule double down the right field line for a 2-0 lead. Dawnoven Smith brought in the third run with a double to right.Â

Outside of the third, BCU's (9-13, 3-4) Maldonado surrendered only two other hits and stranded six runners before
Jordan Pinto relieved him in the seventh.Â

Maldonado (2-2) threw 6.2 innings with three earned runs off seven hits. He had four walks and six strikeouts.
Â
Pinto gave up just one hit in 2.1 innings. He did not walk a batter and had one strikeout.
Â
Aggie hurler Tim Luth (3-1) threw a complete game with three hits, one walk, and three strikeouts.
