MOBILE, Ala. – Bethune-Cookman concludes the tournament play portion of its schedule this weekend at the Jaguar Invitational hosted by South Alabama Friday and Saturday.

The Lady Wildcats (2-6) open the tournament against Nicholls State (6-2) Friday at 11:30 a.m. CST (12:30 p.m.) then meet the host Jaguars (5-5) Friday night. The tournament finshes against Louisiana Tech (7-3) Saturday.

BCU will make its home debut Tuesday against South Florida before diving into Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference next Friday against defending champion Howard next Friday.

BCU UPDATE: The Lady Wildcats are coming off an 0-3 showing at Florida Atlantic …. Junior Faith Landreneaux is all over the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference leaderboard; she's third in hitting percentage (.312), service aces (.52 per set) and eighth in blocks (.8 per set) … Jordan Jefferson is tenth in digs (3.11 per set) and is now fifth on the all-time digs with 777 … Shayla Eugene is eighth in the MEAC with 3.36 digs per set.

SCOUTING:  Louisiana Tech has won four straight, Nichols State has lost two and South Alabama snapped a two-match skid Tuesday against Alabama State.
