DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman University's
Cletrell Pope has been named a BOXTOROW First Team All American for the second straight year, it was announced today [March 23, 2020].
The 6-9 senior forward from Northport, Ala led the nation in offensive rebounds per game (4.62) and was fourth in total rebounds per game (4.2). He is one of two players averaging a double-double in the MEAC with 14.2 points and 11.9 rebounds per game, and he was ranked 13
th in the nation in double-doubles with 17 this season.
He finished his BCU career as the Wildcats' fifth all-time leading rebounder with 722 and second all-time leading rebounder in the Division I era.
BCU finished the season 16-14.
