Last Time Out

The Wildcats enter midweek play off a 2-1 weekend with Alabama State. The Wildcats won the first two games of the series – the first after an eleventh-inning walkoff hit-by-pitch and the second after a four-run comeback led by five RBI from Brian Perez.

The Wildcats dropped the third game of the series – their first conference loss of the season. The Wildcats led, 2-0, in the fourth inning, but an ugly sixth inning pulled the Hornets ahead for good as they won, 6-3.

The Wildcats remain atop the SWAC standings as one of only two teams with only a single loss in conference play at 5-1.

The Bulls have made 35 errors as a team this season. They are 17-23 on stolen base attempts this season.

The Starters

Gabriel White will get his third start of the year for the Wildcats. The lefty started the first two Saturdays for B-CU this season, but has since been used out of the pen. White has struck out 10 in nine innings.

USF will throw Jack Cebert for his third start this season. The right-hander has an 8.40 ERA and 1.60 WHIP in 15 innings. He has allowed five homers and walked seven.
