ORLANDO – Bethune-Cookman relay teams had a strong showing at the UCF Invitational last weekend, with five squads finishing in their respective top eight.
Both the men's 4X100 and 4X400 teams were runners-up in their races.
The 4X100 foursome of
Jermaine Dyges,
Kristopher Brown, Montreal Bennett and
Christian Washington posted a 41.22 while the 4X400 squad of Brown, Dyges,
Christian Taylor and
Isaiah Johnson came in at 3:18.77. The "B" squad of Washington,
Malcolm Brown,
David Richards and Aaron Blount took sixth in 3:29.38.
Both women's 4X400 teams placed in the top eight with
Thea Shaw, Kaliece Pinckney,
Amenda Saint-Louis and Sanitah Tllman finishing third in 3:47.79 and
Alyssa Williams,
Kaiel Kimble,
Indya Campbell and
Jordan Singletary were eighth in 4:02.49.
