DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – After crossing the halfway point of their non-conference schedule, the Wildcats are set to host Longwood at "The Jack" for their final non-conference home series of the season. Game one of a three-game series is set for a 7 p.m. first pitch, Friday March 3 at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.

Last Time Out
The Wildcats took a tough, 9-0 loss to UCF Tuesday night. The Knights allowed only one B-CU hit in the victory.
Scouting the Lancers
Longwood is 2-7 to start the season. They took two of three from Delaware State last weekend before dropping a Tuesday night contest to #21 NC State, 0-14.
The Lancers are hitting .237 as a team this season. They have scored 41 runs as a team and alloed 93. Ryan Gregory and James Nelson each have three homers. Elliot Dix is hitting .414 in nine games.
The Starters
Louis Lipthratt,
Nolan Santos and
Daniel Gaviria will again take the mound on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively for the Wildcats.
The trio each earned wins last weekend over Purdue Fort Wayne, capped off by a complete game shutout from Gaviria Sunday.
All-Time Series
This will be the first time in the history of the two programs that they will meet on the baseball diamond.
