The Wildcats took two of three from ASU last weekend. B-CU recovered from down three to down the Hornets, 5-4, on a late wild pitch for the victory in game one.
In game two of a doubleheader Friday night, the Wildcats were defeated, 11-3. They recovered on Saturday to take the series on a 6-5 win thanks to a three-run homer off the bat of
Jeremy Garcia.
On Tuesday, B-CU dominated the Stetson Hatters, 13-5, pounding them for 15 hits in a midweek victory at "The Jack."
The Delta Devils are 7-14 this season, and 0-3 in SWAC play. They were swept by Florida A&M last weekend to open conference season. They were outscored, 8-37 over three games. The Delta Devils split a pair of midweek contests, taking down Alcorn, 17-13 before falling to Nicholls, 10-5.
MVSU is hitting .279 as a team on the season with 22 RBI, and 28 homers. Draylin Holmes leads his squad at the plate with an OPS of 1.013, five homers, and 16 RBI.
The MVSU pitching staff has combined for a 10.42 ERA, 2.14 WHIP, and 118 strikeouts in 158 innings.

Friday's contest will mark the seventh meeting all-time between the two programs, with B-CU holding a 4-2 lead after a pair of three-game series last year.
