DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Wildcats embark on the first of four straight SWAC road series beginning with three games with Alabama A&M this weekend. First pitch of game one is set for Thursday April 6, at Bulldog Field.

The Wildcats threatened early, but No. 3 Florida proved too much to handle as B-CU fell to the Gators, 8-4, Tuesday night at Condron Family Ballpark.
Robert Moya's three-run homer in the first gave B-CU an early lead, but the Gators battled back for an 8-4 victory.
AAMU is 11-15 this season, and 2-7 in SWAC play. They have lost their previous six SWAC games to Florida A&M and Alabama State. On Tuesday, they defeated Tuskegee, 11-8.
The Bulldogs are batting .254 as a team this season with nine homers and 172 runs scored. The Bulldog pitching staff has combined for a 7.93 ERA and 185 strikeouts in 229 innings pitched.
Tommy Easley leads his team at the plate, hitting .352 with 22 RBI.
- Nolan Santos is second in the country in strikeouts with 83 in 44 innings pitched.
- Robert Moya has three homers in his last three games.
- Boris Peña's reached base streak is up to 15 after a hit in Tuesday's game with Florida, the longest streak by a Wildcat this season.
The Wildcats are 10-3 all-time against AAMU.
