DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The 2023 season comes to an end this weekend as the Wildcats host Jackson State to round out SWAC play, Thursday, Saturday, May 18-20, at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
The Wildcats currently hold the SWAC's No. 2 seed in the East with an 18-8 conference record. They hold a two-game lead in the loss column over Florida A&M.

The Wildcats fell to UCF in the final midweek contest of the season Tuesday night in Orlando, 7-11.
Brian Perez had four RBI and a homer in the loss.
The Wildcats dropped two of three to Jackson State in the last weekend of April. They took game one of the three-game series, 9-7 in 13 innings before dropping the latter two of the series.
The Tigers took two of three from Mississippi Valley State last weekend in Jackson. They also took two of three from FAMU in the two weekend's since the last meeting with B-CU.
- With one strikeout Thursday, Nolan Santos will break his personal and program record of 113 strikeouts, set a season ago. He is second in all of college baseball in the category.
The Wildcats are 3-7 in 10 all-time contests with Jackson State.
