A furious comeback fell just short for B-CU against FIU Wednesday night as the Wildcats dropped their second of two midweek contests, 7-6. Seven different Wildcats recorded hits.
Derek Cintron recorded a pair of RBI in the loss.
The Wildcats and Bulldogs have met only once this season due to a pair of rainouts. Game one of that series was a wild back-and-forth contest that saw the Wildcats win 12-10 after a four-run ninth inning. The two clubs scored in six of nine innings.
The Bulldogs have lost six straight, including a sweep at the hands of Mississippi Valley State.
The Wildcats are 11-3 in 14 career games against AAMU.
