DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Colton Olasin of B-CU Baseball and Katie Robinson of B-CU Women's Golf have been named Wildcats of the Week for the week of April 15-21, 2024.

B-CU Baseball Captain Colton Olasin enjoyed the best of an outstanding offensive weekend for the Wildcats as they swept a four-game set with Mississippi Valley State and took both midweekers against Stetson and Miami. In his final four games of the weekend Olasin finished six for nine at the plate with six RBI, a double, and a run scored.

Bethune-Cookman junior Katie Robinson won the 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference Golf Championship Individual Medalist Award on Wednesday afternoon, as the Wildcats finished up play in the 2024 SWAC Women's Golf Championship at The Refuge. Robinson, a junior from American Canyon, California, turned in a career-best at The Refuge, lowering her results from a season ago by double-digit strokes. She entered Wednesday's final round tied atop the player leaderboard with Alabama State's Bamboo Kittiyanaruewat.
 
Robinson (78-73-72=223, +7) would finish the day with a tournament-low even-par 72, winning the individual title by two strokes, and claiming her first-ever SWAC Individual title. In the process, she lowered her scorecard each round of the tournament – one of just two Wildcats to claim that distinction.
