The Wildcats split a pair of games at Jackson State last weekend before a rainout on Sunday ruled a no-contest in the top of the third with both teams scoreless.Â
The Wildcats won Friday night, 9-5, behind
Manny Souffrain's team-leading fifth homer of the season. B-CU was shutout, 5-0 on Saturday.Â
The Wildcats took a tough, 14-1 loss at the hands of the then-ranked #25 Knights back on April 2. UCF scored 3+ runs in the first, fourth, and eighth while B-CU stranded nine runs on the loss.Â
The Knights enter play this weekend after dropping two of three to #18 Texas at home last weekend.
UCF is hitting .286 as a team with 52 homers. Matt Prevesk leads his team in batting average at .365 with a .430 OBP overall. Jack Zyska tops the Knights with 10 homers as well as 42 RBI.
On the mound, the Knights have combined for a 4.31 team ERA with 171 walks to 422 strikeouts.
- Bethune-Cookman ranks fourth in all of college baseball at 134 stolen bases.Â
- The Wildcats have clinched an overall .500 or better record in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2016-2017.

Tuesday marks the 86th all-time meeting between B-CU and UCF. The Wildcats are 14-71 in the series, having lost 12 straight. B-CU is 3-38 on the road iin the series.
