DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Bethune-Cookman has been named HBCU+ FCS National Team of the Week according to Stats Perform, it was announced Tuesday, November 4. 

B-CU receives its second Stats Perform national honor since the inception of the award following its 42-34 win over Mississippi Valley State on Saturday.

The Wildcats used a strong running game, compiling 224 yards rushing, while making timely defensive plays to secure a much-needed SWAC victory. The win improved B-CU to 4-1 in the SWAC East, tying them for the best record in the division.

B-CU returns to the gridiron Saturday, Nov. 8 to take on Grambling State. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. EST.
