DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman defensive back
Antwone Watts has been named HBCU National Player of the Week, it was announced Monday morning by BOXTOROW.
Watts, a redshirt senior, had a standout performance against Mississippi Valley State. He compiled 11 total tackles with one tackle for loss and two pass breakups. His fourth-quarter pick six and helped the Wildcats take a two-possession lead and secure a key conference victory.
Watts will be honored on the nationally syndicated sports talk show BOXTOROW with Donal Ware.
Bethune-Cookman looks to continue their winning ways as they travel to take on the Grambling State Tigers on Saturday, November 8. The game kicks off at 3 p.m.
