DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Senior Andrey Martinez has been named to Baseball America's Week 10 National Team of the Week, the site announced Wednesday morning. The honor roll features one player at every position, including the top-performing two-way player, and four pitchers, with Martinez receiving the honor as the top third baseman.

This is the first appearance on the team of the week for a Bethune-Cookman player this season.

Martinez continued his powerful season this past week. In a stunning midweek win over #20 Florida in Gainesville, he had three hits, four RBI and a homer, and two doubles. In the series against Alabama A&M, he had six hits, six RBI, and a home run.

The Wildcats have another tough matchup scheduled for Tuesday night as they take on the UCF Knights at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. The midweeker begins at 6 p.m. EST.
