DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Former Bethune-Cookman Football offensive lineman Andrew Edouard has officially been assigned to the roster for the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League, announced earlier by the Philadelphia Soul public relations office.
Edouard, a starting center for the Wildcats from 2013-14, was a two-time All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference performer for the Wildcats. He was a first team performer in 2013, followed by a third team representative as a senior in 2014. A Philadelphia native and 2013 All-America performer, Edouard helped pave the way for an offensive unit that racked up 361.4 yards per game in total offense during the 2014 campaign. A number that includes 162.2 yards through the air, as well as 199.2 yards on the ground. On the year, Edouard helped block for senior running back Anthony Jordan to eclipse 1,000 career rushing yards, as well as a B-CU ground attack that scored 32 rushing touchdowns.
“I am happy for Andrew because I know how hard he worked here at B-CU, and he has earned everything he's gotten to this point,” stated B-CU Head Coach Terry Sims, the 2015 MEAC Coach of the Year. “This is a big moment for him, and I know he's going to make the most of this opportunity and move even further ahead in his career.”
