@BCUhoops Game Day: Delaware State

DOVER, Del. — Bethune-Cookman returns to the road and Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play Saturday when they face Delaware State at 4 p.m.

The Wildcats have had more success on the road when it comes to both conference play and Delaware State as of late. B-CU has won its last three MEAC road games and was victorious in its last two trips to Dover.

B-CU UPDATE: Ricky Johnson recorded  a career-high 28 points in the Stetson loss, 20 of those in the first half. The redshirt junior from Akron, Ohio has registered 20 points or more in four of the last five games ... Quintin Brewer had his fifth double-double of the year, while Travis Elliott has averaged nine board in the last two games ... B-CU is 6-4 in day games this season.. 

DSU UPDATE: The Hornets have won the last two games of the series , both in Daytona Beach where the Wildcats have lost their last five games, including four in the league ... Amere May leads the Hornets with an average of 18.1 points per game, while Kendall Grey is averaging 12.1 boards a night.

IF THE MEAC TOURNAMENT STARTED TODAY: The Wildcats would face North Carolina A&T in the opening round for the right to face North Carolina Central in the quarterfinals.

WELL, CLOSE TO HOME: Wildcat Jeffon Powell is from nearby Philadelphia. He did get to spend a few minutes in his hometown when the team landed at the Philadelphia airport.
