TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Any time Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M meet in any sport, it's memorable. And basketball has produced its share of classic experiences.
With the Wildcats traveling to the highest of seven hills to face Florida A&M in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference doubleheader, here's a look back at some of the most memorable hoop moments of the past decade from both @BCUWBB and @BCUhoops.

2010 – BCU Men 62, FAMU 55
A December meeting set the tone for the rest of the year as the Wildcats won the MEAC conference  opener on the road. CJ Reed scored 19, but newcomers Garrius Holloman (14) and Mikel Trapp (10 in the second half) helped BCU start a 13-3 run through league play and its first MEAC regular season tournament championship
2011 – BCU Men 73, FAMU 71 (OT)
The championship had been clinched, but it was the regular season finale, and it was Florida A&M in Moore Gym. And it was a back-and-forth classic. CJ Reed tied the game with six seconds remaining, then Alexander Starling stole the inbound bound and hit an off-balance jumper for the game-winner. Afterwards, the gym celebrated that the father-son due of Clifford Reed and CJ Reed being named Conference Coach and Player Of The Year.
2013 – BCU Women 59, FAMU 49
The first Lady Wildcat entry on this list also was BCU's first victory over the Rattlers in seven years. Chastity Rene Taylor hit five three-pointers in a 19-point night while Shakeyia Collier added 12 points and seven rebounds.
2013 –BCU Men 67 FAMU 65
The guys have definitely been more dramatic. This time,
Ricky Johnson drove the lane and hit a lay-up with a second remaining to cap off a career-high 25 point afternoon.
2015 – BCU Women 53, FAMU 41
Kendra Cooper unleashed a barrage of seven three-pointers in a 22-outing that gave BCU its third win over FAMU in the season in a MEAC tournament opening round game.
2016 – BCU Men 88, FAMU 56
This one that marks BCU's largest margin of victory in the series.
Mario Moody, now with the Harlem Globetrotters, led BCU with 25.

2017 – BCU Women 59, FAMU 42
To get to the ship, you have to get past the semis. And standing in the Lady Wildcats way were the Rattlers ..until the second half. Cooper scored 12 and
Emily Williams 11 as BCU pulled away from a 25-22 halftime lead to advance to the championship for the first time since 1992.
2018 – The Sweep
Sometimes it's what happens off the court that's memorable. The Lady Wildcats wrapped up a 24-5 regular season with a 20-point blowout, but in the locker room afterwards, Vice President
Lynn W. Thompson and the senior staff joined in announcing that
Vanessa Blair-Lewis was named Coach of The Year,
Angel Golden Player Of The Year and
Ashanti Hunt Defensive Player of The Year. The guys' 89-77 win was just as memorable.
Soufiyane Diakite set a school record by making all 13 field goals in a 27-point, 14-rebound double-double. Afterwards, the team celebrated its first regular season conference championship since 2011, and
Brandon Tabb and Diakite being named MVP and Defensive Player Of The Year.
2019 – BCU Women 52, FAMU 50.
The first 38 minutes were forgettable, but down four with two to go, BCU got a three-pointer from
Camary Harris and then
Angel Golden, in the midst of a 5-26 shooting night, made 6-27 matter on the go-ahead jumper with 9.1 seconds left.
Saturday's doubleheader starts at 2 p.m.
