Alec Mendez throw another Saturday gem, scattering four hits over seven innings as BCU took a 2-0 lead on RBI singles from Colston Olasin in the fifth and
Josten Heron in the seventh.
FGCU tied the game in the eighth with two runs, capitalizing on three walks from the Wildcat bullpen.
Brady Norris came in and threw six innings of shutout relief – striking out ten – before giving up those two decisive runs.

Rafael Padilla.
DeBonis and Matt Garcia each had two hits in BCU's first 16-inning game since a 6-0 loss to Florida A&M on March 1, 2015.
