Spring Football Concludes with Spring Game Saturday

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – As the fall inches closer and Bethune-Cookman Football prepares to commemorate its 100th year as a program, the Wildcats will conclude spring practice with the 2023 Maroon & Gold Spring Game, 4 p.m. Saturday at Daytona Municipal Stadium.

Students, alumni, fans, and members of the Daytona Beach community are encouraged to be a part of a historic day for Bethune-Cookman Athletics at its Kickoff Centennial Celebration.

The festivities begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Athletic Training Center as Athletic Director Reggie Theus and Head Coach Raymond Woodie host a groundbreaking ceremony for the development of a football practice facility, which is set to be complete ahead of the 2023 regular season. The event is open to the public. It will also be streamed on YouTube.com/CatEyeNetwork.

A spring tailgate will begin at Daytona Municipal Stadium at 1:00 p.m. The first 1,000 fans will receive a commemorative T-Shirt to celebrate the re-launch of the Wildcat Champions Club. Fans are invited to enjoy a DJ, games, food, and fellowship with the Wildcat faithful.

The Maroon & Gold Spring game is set to kickoff at 4:00 p.m.

For students, transportation for the game will depart from White Hall on Saturday, 4/22, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 p.m.
