The Wildcats return three players from the 2023-24 season that saw the Wildcats finish 3-16 overall with wins over Mississippi Valley State, Grambling State, and Edward Waters on the road.
Keona Burley,
Allexii Bassette, and
Jalayah Shaw will return to the court for the Cats.
Joining them is four newcomers to The Beach, highlighted by Harare, Zimbabwe, product
Zahara El-Zein, who competed for the Wildcats in the fall slate.
Rosalida Asumwa also joins the Wildcats out of Nairobi, Kenya. Local products
Anne Cerne out of Jacksonville and
Lesa Snipes-Williams round out the rest of the new-look B-CU roster.
Stetson Women's Tennis enters the spring as defending ASUN Champions, defeating both Austin Peay and Florida Gulf Coast, 4-1, on the way to the Hatters' second ASUN title in three years. The Hatters went on to fall to #14 Florida, 4-0 in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament in Gainesville.
The Hatters dropped their opening match to Embry-Riddle on Jan. 18. Stetson lost the doubles point and took three singles victories.
