A beloved individual at Bethune-Cookman, Dr. Jno (pronounced John) Frink laid the groundwork for what is now the Booster Club and the Hall of Fame.

He served the institution in many capacities from 1948 until his passing in 2001, including a 1995-200 stint as Executive Vice-President.

After receiving a degree in Social Science from Bethune-Cookman, he went on to earn his Masters at Georgia State University.

Active in community service, Dr. Frink was a member of the Daytona Beach/Halifax Area Chamber of Commerce, the Halifax Medical Foundation and a trustee for the City of Daytona Beach Police and Fire Pension Board, just to name a few.  Among his numerous awards was recognition from National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education.
