Bethune-Cookman University Athletics

Marion Yvonne Pinder Allen was an exceptional scholar-athlete while attending Bethune-Cookman from 1946-48 before finishing her studies at Allen University.

Allen was a leading scorer for the "Kittens" and was an All-Conference selection.

After her playing days, she became an educator and coach, guiding Carver HS in Delray Beach, Fla. to a state championship. She would later serve as Dean of Women at Florida Memorial College in her hometown of Miami.

She passed away in 1978.
